Agreement with UrbaCon Concessions Investment:

To implement solar energy projects with an initial capacity of up to 1000 MW, with the potential for expansion to 2000 MW in subsequent stages.

Memorandum of Understanding with Cora Energy (Turkey):

For the implementation of a 10 MW solar power station, with comprehensive feasibility studies covering technical, economic, and environmental evaluations, as well as design, procurement, construction, testing, operation, and maintenance of the project.

Memorandum of Understanding with the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE):

To support capacity building and development in renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.

Memorandum of Understanding with Mytilineos (Greece):

To support the development of photovoltaic solar energy projects in Libya.

To establish a 500 MW solar power station, one of the largest joint renewable energy projects, including technical support and joint financing to execute the project, which will meet the energy needs of several cities.

To develop solar power plant projects in Libya and provide technical support that includes studies and capacity building.

Memorandum of Understanding with BLS:

To develop and operate solar power projects with an initial capacity of 500 MW, working on implementing the station in phases of 50 MW at the growth site.

COP28 Conference: The Renewable Energy Authority participated in the United Nations Climate Change Conference held in Dubai. During this event, meetings were held with leading organizations and companies in the renewable energy sector. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities for joint cooperation and building strategic partnerships for investing in renewable energy projects in Libya.

Libyan-French Business Forum: Held in Paris, France, this forum aimed to enhance economic cooperation between Libya and France in the field of renewable energy. It facilitated the exchange of expertise and modern technologies that will support Libya's transition to clean energy.

Energy Experts Committee Meeting in Egypt: The Authority participated as a member of the Arab League's Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Experts Committee, where the final version of the document "Towards an Arab Strategy for Green Hydrogen" was discussed.

International cooperation with the Renewable Energy Authority serves as a bridge to achieving sustainable development goals and boosting the use of renewable energy in Libya. These partnerships highlight Libya's commitment to enhancing its capabilities in sustainable energy, contributing to building a more sustainable future for the country.
